This specialised trade business is member of the Association of the European Mineral and Fossil Trade – DMF e.V. International. As every other member it will observe all provisions for competition, trade and advertising of the respective country.

  • to the unsolicited declaration of repairs and any modification that go beyond the recognised methods of preparation and restoration.
in the sale of jewellery and precious stones
  • to the strict use of names and specification defined by the internationally recognised Cibjo guidelines.
  • to the unsolicited declaration of treatment methods according to the Cibjo guidelines.
  • to truthful product information regarding processing, rarity and quality.
in the sale of minerals for esoteric and therapeutic purposes· to indicate the accurate mineralogical names whilst using trade names
  • to the exact declaration of treatment methods and any modification of stones to the best of one’s knowledge and belief, even if this information exceeds the provisions of the Cibjo guidelines.
  • to truthful product information regarding colour, origin and traditional use.
Validity:
  • The DMF Code of Honour refers to all business activities, thus to the labelling and description of goods in shops and showrooms, on fairs and other events, as well as in all offers to customers, price lists, advertisements, catalogues, on delivery notes and invoices, in product documentation and during sales talks.
